This Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole combines the delicious flavors of turkey bacon and chicken ham for a delightful morning meal.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices of turkey bacon
  • 4 ounces of chicken ham
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • 1 loaf of bread, cubed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and chop into pieces.
  3. In the same skillet, add the chicken ham and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add the cubed bread, turkey bacon, chicken ham, and Swiss cheese to the egg mixture; stir well.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the casserole is set and golden brown.
