A delicious and hearty winter casserole that combines creamy vegetables with turkey bacon for a comforting dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1 cup diced carrots
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 3 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions, garlic, and mushrooms until soft.
  4. Add broccoli and carrots, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. In a large bowl, combine cream, cheese, seasonings, and cooked vegetables.
  6. Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish, top with chopped turkey bacon.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
