1 cup unsalted butter, softened
2/3 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon orange zest
1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla extract and orange zest, mixing until well combined.
Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until the dough comes together.
Roll the dough into logs and slice into 1/4 inch thick cookies.
Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
Let cool completely before dipping in melted chocolate.
Melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave or double boiler and dip half of each cookie in the chocolate.
Set on parchment paper to allow chocolate to harden.
